DESCRIPTION
The Team Wendy® SAR (Search And Rescue) TACTICAL™ is the first purpose-built search and rescue helmet to provide tactical accessory mounting capabilities, including a standard NVG plate, while meeting key industrial and mountaineering performance standards.
The helmet is optimized for use with night vision devices; it features an integrated machined aluminum NVG plate insert. The helmet also includes a 4-point CAM FIT™ Retention System with a chin cup for optimal stability and a BOA® Fit System to dial in precise fit adjustment while providing a single-handed quick release.
The Team Wendy® SAR helmet comes standard with two vent covers to prevent objects and debris from entering the crown vents of the helmet.
PRODUCT FEATURES
ZORBIUM® FOAM LINER
Consisting of two parts: the Polystyrene liner itself that provides protection against blows and the padding for extreme comfort. There are a total of 6 pads (3 shapes in 2 thicknesses) which provide a custom fit.
CAM LOCK SLIDERS
CAM LOCK sliders allow for easy one-handed adjustments and a secure fit around the face.
BOA® FIT SYSTEM
The micro-adjustable BOA® system stabilizes the weight of the helmet by distributing a light, even pressure around the head. The feeling is similar to a baseball cap. Tightening and releasing tension is extremely simple with this system.
NVG PLATE
An integrated aluminum machined NVG mounting plate designed to take a NVG shroud. The plate is compatible with all standard issue NVG mounts.
CHIN-CUP DESIGN
Its chin-cup is designed for a snug, even feel to the wearer's face. The ultra-suede lining ensures maximum comfort and chafe-free wear at any temperatures.
VENTING HOLES
The shell features 12 venting holes to maximize airflow during use, preventing the buildup of sweat and moisture. Additionally it comes with 2 vent covers. This to prevent objects and debris from entering the crown vents if needed.
ACCESSORY RAIL SYSTEM
The SAR TACTICAL™ is provided with SAR Rails to provide the option of mounting accessories like visors, hearing protection, counterweights and Picatinny rails.

COUNTERWEIGHTS
