DESCRIPTION
The Team Wendy® M-216™ TACTICAL helmet with official Multicam® pattern is a dedicated helmet for operational applications.
The helmet features a machined aluminum shroud for NVG mounting. Its accessory rails provide extra options to mount hearing protection/headsets or other Picatinny mounted accessories. It also includes a sport-style under the chin retention system with a Fidlock® magnetic buckle for easy one-handed operation and a BOA® Fit System to dial in precise fit adjustment while providing single-handed quick release.
It also has comfortable removable ear covers which allow for in-ear communication systems with a built-in pocket for drop-in audio devices. Above that it has adjustable crown vents for heat regulation and goggle fogging prevention. The helmet additionally comes with a Princeton-Tec® light of choice.
PRODUCT FEATURES
NVG PLATE
An integrated aluminum machined NVG mounting plate designed to take a NVG shroud. The plate is compatible with all standard issue NVG mounts.
REMOVABLE EAR COVERS
Removable ear cups specifically designed to be comfortable while using in-ear communication systems with a pocket for drop-in audio device compatibility.
M-216™ ACCESSORY RAILS
The M-216™ TACTICAL is provided with M-216™ Rails to allow the option of mounting accessories like hearing protection and Picatinny rails.
ADJUSTABLE CROWN VENTS
14 total vents: 8 crown (3 positions adjustable: open, half open & closed), 2 front (passive open), 4 rear (fixed open) for maximum cooling and goggle fog reduction.
EPS LINER
A lightweight EPS impact liner with a removable and washable comfort liner.
GOGGLE STRAP
The rear of the helmet features an integrated goggle shock cord retention.
SPORT-STYLE RETENTION
The helmet features a retention system with a Fidlock® magnetic buckle for easy one-handed operation.
BOA® FIT SYSTEM
The micro-adjustable BOA® system stabilizes the weight of the helmet by distributing a light, even pressure around the head. The feeling is similar to a baseball cap. Tightening and releasing tension is extremely simple with this system.
INCLUDED LIGHT CHOICE
2 options are available from the Princeton-Tec® brand:
- Switch MPLS: Lightweight task light with a dual-LED head on a flexi-neck platform.
- Switch Rail: Low-signature task light designed for navigation and map reading.
