DESCRIPTION
The ReconBrothers® Direct Action® RECCE Chest Rig Setup is compiled from our personal experience & expertise of Direct Action® their product range.
This bundle covers all basics to work as a fully functional reconnaissance chest rig setup. The base chest rig provides the capability to carry up to 8 magazines, a grenade, utilities and flat objects like a map or other flat data. The rig also features a zipper in the middle to make donning and doffing easy and thanks to its slim shoulders, wearing a backpack over the system is comfortable.
The addition of a universal radio pouch on the left PALS allows the use of any radio system. On top, by using the insert of a vertical MED pouch on the outer right pouch of the base system, you can carry a quick-accessible trauma kit with you (this however, reduces the mag count to 6). Next to that, the addition of a hydro utility pouch on the right side PALS allows the holding of a water container. And lastly, by adding a tourniquet pouch (upside down) on the right shoulder, a TQ can be securely worn and easily taken when needed, even with a backpack on.
The whole setup also lends itself for the use of a Direct Action® Sniper Panel, that moves the chest rig sides out of the way, leaving a flat front surface for a comfortable prone shooting position.
Only thing left for you to complete it, is fill it with your magazines and equipment.

A two piece IFAK designed to fit on chest rig side panels or on a belt – taking similar PALS real estate as a magazine pouch. The insert with medical equipment can be deployed with a single pull of the Velcro®-closed flap. The whole first aid equipment is well organized and held in place by elastic webbing loops. Simple, lightweight pouch designed to hold one of the popular water containers such as USGI 1 qt canteen or 1l Nalgene® bottle - with or without cups. Pouch is adjustable to fit over smaller containers. LINK TO PRODUCT
Direct Action® Tourniquet Pouch®
Made to carry most of the currently used tourniquet models such as SOFT-T or CAT. The key idea is to protect the life-saving device its Velcro® strips from dirt that can reduce its usability in a critical situation – whilst providing quick access and a more sturdy carry method than rubber bands.
