DESCRIPTION
The Direct Action® THUNDERBOLT® Compact Chest Rig is a combination of Direct Action®’s two most appreciated chest rigs with additional feedback from the end-users. This small, yet versatile rig has most of the pouches from the popular HURRICANE® hybrid chest rig applied to a platform even smaller than the TIGER MOTH®.
With fixed pouches for magazines, first aid kit and other essentials, it gives you the capability of carrying everything as close to your body as possible. A horizontal MOLLE/PALS row under the pouch section can be used for mounting additional utility pouches too. Fully attachable to the SPITFIRE®, BEARCAT® and HELLCAT® plate carriers creating a unique rapid deployment platform.

- Made of proprietary laminate, Cordura® 500D with soft-shell interior
- Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating makes used materials water-resistant
- Camo versions are NIR (Near-Infrared Reflective) compliant & plain colors are IRR (InfraRed Reflective) treated to help prevent detection by night vision devices
BUILT-IN POUCHES
- Integrated, adjustable pouches to hold 4x AR, AK, SR magazines
- 2 buckle-closed adjustable pouches on sides that can be used as utility pouches or a first aid kit pouch after combining it with Direct Action®’s Vertical MED Pouch
- Zippered utility pocket for small items
- 2 Velcro®-closed, adjustable pistol magazines pouches with detachable flap
- Flat inner pocket in chest panel
SHOULDERS
The shoulders feature PTT slots & are also made thin to comfortably wear backpacks.
