DESCRIPTION

The Direct Action® TEMPEST® Chest Rig is a stripped down model and ready for action. The TEMPEST® Chest Rig also offers increased modularity for full user-customization. The tight split front design allows for comfortable use in stand-alone mode and keeps your magazines close when attached to a plate carrier.

PRODUCT FEATURES

CONSTRUCTION

  • Proprietary laser-cut laminate, Cordura® 500D & soft-shell construction
  • Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating makes used materials water-resistant
  • Camo versions are NIR (Near-Infrared Reflective) compliant & plain colors are IRR (InfraRed Reflective) treated to help prevent detection by night vision devices

BUILT-IN POUCHES

  • Integrated, adjustable magazine pouches, will fit: 8x AR, 4x AK or 4x SR type magazines
  • Flat inner pockets in each chest panel

ZIPPERED FRONT

Built-in durable front zipper allows easy donning & doffing of the chest rig.

SPECIAL FEATURES

  • MOLLE/PALS slots on the magazine pouches & sides
  • Horizontal MOLLE/PALS slots under ammunition pouches for tourniquets, pistol magazine pouches etc

SHOULDERS

The shoulders feature MOLLE/PALS slots & Velcro®-closed  loops for comms/antenna routing. Shoulders are also made thin to comfortably wear backpacks.

BACK SIDE

Features MOLLE/PALS slots to attach equipment & has a reinforced drag handle incorporated into its design.

COMPATIBILITY

Can be attached to the SPITFIRE®, BEARCAT® or HELLCAT® system or similar plate carriers with a Mayflower®/Velocity Systems standard.
