DESCRIPTION
Thanks to the feedback from users around the world, Direct Action® was able to create the new, improved version of one of their top products – the Direct Action® SPITFIRE® Plate Carrier in official Crye™ Multicam®.
The MKII version may look simpler, but is in fact much more scalable and mission configurable. Direct Action® decided to strip down the carrier of unnecessary MOLLE/PALS slots under the flap and on the back, as well as enlarge the loop panel on the front for large LE patches.
Even more – it’s lighter than the MKI version. Thanks to numerous new flaps, back panels and cummerbunds, you are able to make the carrier the way you actually need it.

CONSTRUCTION
- Made of Cordura® 500D fabric & proprietary laminate
- Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating makes used materials water-resistant
- Camo versions are NIR (Near-Infrared Reflective) compliant & plain colors are IRR (InfraRed Reflective) treated to help prevent night vision detection
FRONT PANEL
- Front buckles are according to the Mayflower®/Velocity Systems standard
- Bottom of plate bag flaps feature MOLLE/PALS slots to attach single row pouches on the bottom
BACK PANEL
- Back zippers are according to the Crye® Precision AVS standard
- Integrated drag handle on the back
CUMMERBUNDS
- Comes with Direct Action® MKII Elastic Cummerbund Slim
- Very simple cummerbunds adjustment system
- Partly elastic cummerbunds auto-adjust size for freedom of movement & when wearing more/less layers of clothing
PTT POINTS
Slim designed PTT (Push-To-Talk) points allow the attachment of most popular PTT systems.
STABALIZERS
Velcro® closed cable/hydration tube stabilizers on front, back & shoulders.

CONFIGURATION OPTIONS
FRONT FLAPS/CHEST RIGS
Buckles on the front plate bag are according to the Mayflower®/Velocity Systems standard. Allowing for the quick & easy attachment of Direct Action® or third party flaps or chest rigs.
BACK PANELS
Back zippers are made according to the Crye® Precision AVS standard. This allows fast attachment/removal of Direct Action® or third party back panels & compatible daypacks. An ultra-lightweight skeletonized back panel is also available.
CUMMERBUNDS
A number of SPITFIRE® cummerbunds are available which allow you to choose one that fits your needs. The SPITFIRE® MKII is also compatible with the Direct Action® Skeletonized cummerbunds.
SPITFIRE® WINGS
The SPITFIRE® MKII is provided with side ports that allow the attachment of side wings. Two versions are available: The Direct Action® SPITFIRE® Comms Wing & the Direct Action® SPITFIRE® MOLLE Wing.
COMFORT PADS
The Direct Action® SPITFIRE® Comfort Pad Set adds comfort, improves air flow & moisture management. These are easily attached through the dedicated Velcro® patches on the inner side of the plate carrier.
CUTAWAY SYSTEM
The Direct Action® SPITFIRE® Cutaway System allows for immediate release & field reassemble without cutaway elements. Created with waterborne ops in mind, it also allows for instant assessment, treating & re-armoring of a wounded teammate.

SIZING
Please measure your chest circumference with a tape measure and use the below numbers to pick your optimal size.
- Size M: Chest up to 120 cm, Width x Height = 26,7 x 34,3 cm
- Size L: Chest up to 130 cm, Width x Height = 26,7 x 38,1 cm
- Size XL: Chest up to 140 cm, Width x Height = 28,2 x 43,3 cm
The plate carrier will fit most popular plates on the market, including SAPI cuts.
